Captain Bill Myers with Delta Dawn Charters Welcomes You! My fishing "career" began on the Detroit River , fishing for walleye with my dad. Back then it wasn't even called fishing -at my age it was "sishin". I also fished Lake Erie and
having had family in Port Huron, Michigan, it enabled me to fish for walleye, salmon, and muskie on the St. Claire River and Lake St. Claire. After my military tour of duty (Vietnam), I went to work in Saginaw and Bay city, Michigan area and fished Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay for walleye, trout, and salmon. My work finally took me to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where I met the two loves of my life-the sportsman paradise of the U.P. and my wife. I still reside in the area and continue to branch out, fishing for Lakers in Marquette and Munising, Michigan on Lake Superior and for Pink Salmon on the St. MARYS River in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. Oh, I almost forget, I still have the wife, 38 years now! So you can see I have many years experience (at both)!

I have fished countless hours on Big and Little Bay de Noc, Lake Michigan, and the Bay of Green Bay for walleye, trout, and salmon. Before getting my captains' license, I gained valuable knowledge and experience being " first-mate" to other captains. I am a member of the Michigan Charter Boat Association, The North American Fishing Club, Bay de Noc Great Lakes Sport Fishermen, and the Manistique Area Sports Fishing Association. I have fished in numerous tournaments including the Masters Walleye Circuit Walmart Bay's Classic, and other salmon derbies. Each experience was invaluable in the knowledge gained.
